Chomp Chomp

I finally got a chance to go to Chomp Chomp after hearing about it's name for a long time. Chomp Chomp is a food center and it sells a variety of food ranging from sambal sotong, sambal stingray, satay, sugar cane drink, BBQ chicken wings and many more. The food there is quite cheap and affordable, however you have to reached there early as there will a lot of people going there too. The later it is the more crowded it is. My friends and i seat outside as inside was a little hot and stuffy inside the food center.

We got sambal sotong, sambal stingray, oyster omelette and BBQ chicken wings and drinks. The total cost of the dinner came out to be around $35 so one person spend about $17.40 for that dinner which was quite okay. The drinks took us by surprise because the "cup" was really big, it look more like a jug rather than a "cup" and it was only $3. I think the drink can be shared by two people, so that you will not feel too overwhelm by having to drink too much drink.
The super big bandung drink ($3) and it is actually the second smallest.

Sambal Sotong ($10)

BBQ chicken wings ( 1 for $1.30)

Sambal stingray ($12) and oyster omelette ($10)

All we need to do is to remember the table number and tell the stall owner the table number  as they will deliver the food to your table. Some stall will require you to pay before hand while other will ask you to pay when they deliver the food to your table. Overall, i was really satisfied as i got to eat the sambal sting ray. I will go there again with my friends as the food is really cheap and delicious.

Chomp Chomp Food Center:
Address: 20 Kensington Park Road
Opening hours: Depend on the stall but most stalls are open at 5.30pm and they close at 12 midnight.
