Taiwan Day 1

I arrived in taiwan at 3pm, when we arrived it was about 17-15•c and we were taking a bus to our hotel 台北花园大酒店. The ride was about 1 hour plus. The hotel is 10 minutes away from西门町(something like bugis street). The traffic lights there do not have a button to press, it is automatic so it will turn red on its on. As when we arrived at taiwan it was already in the evening so the tour guide brought us to 西门町 to shop and have our dinner.
My hotel..

As it is winter in taiwan, the day turns dark even though it is only 5pm, the sun set early it also rise early when it is 5am in the morning it looks like 7am as it is so bright. 西门町 is like a combination of a night market and shopping malls. They have lots of smaller vendors there selling all kinds of stuff like food and scarf. They have a variety of food, I love the street food it is super nice and i had 煎饺 (gyoza),番薯蛋 (Tapioca and sweet potato balls) this is fried and they taste really good if you have a chance to try you have to get it. I also had sausages made of 山猪( wild boar meat).

White bitter gourd drink

Super nice, this is fried quail eggs with a sauce on it. The sauce taste like maggi sauce.

Plane food for brunch.

We also went to the modern toilet restaurant, i always wanted to go there ever since i saw it being recommended on the tv. When we went in, it was really interesting, you sit on toilet bowls and the table is actually  a bath tub with just a glass top on it. The food there was also served in an interesting way. The food there was not bad and i especially like the thai spicy wing it is slightly sour and spicy at the same time.
Finally located the restaurant after some time..
