Universal Studio Singapore with best friends

So on 14 November my friends and i went to USS as she has two free tickets and we just need to buy one more to enter as we had three people. I was super excited as this is the first time i am going there with my friends, and our aim for the day was to try all the rides.

We decided to meet at 10am at vivo before walking there together, when we arrive at USS we were lucky that we do not need to queue to buy the tickets as we already bought it before hand, the queue was insane, it was so long. The first ride we took was the Canopy Flyer, it was super fun even thought i came to use quite a few time but i did not have the chance to take it. It was fun so after we completed all the rides we came back and took it one more time. After that we took the Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure even though i have took it so many times but i still feel a little bit scared when we enter the tunnel as it was completely pitch black and i could not see anything.

Time passed very fast when we are having fun, and we very hungry so we decided to dine in Mel's dine in. It has a 1950s feel to it and we all had crispy chicken burger with fries. Henna and me decided to have a large drink as we were super thirsty. After playing a few more rides we had star dots or also known as dipping dots, i had cookies and cream. I have to say the most enjoyable ride was the transformer ride it was super awesome and we went for a second round too. It was my first time on the ride and went we are on it i thought that we were moving but my friend told me after the ride that we were actually in the same place all along they just kept turning the cabin.

My friends had strawberry and i had cookie and cream.

My lunch..

I had enjoy myself a lot on that day, it was a great day to hang out with all my friends. It is not easy to be able to meet up all the time as we all had different schedules so when we could finally find time to meet up we are super happy. It is also a good time to catch up before next year when we would all be busy studying for our O level and N level. We are still going to meet up int the next few weeks, i could not wait to meet them.

Haramiya buffet

On 21 december, i when to haramiya to celebrate my mum's friend's birthday. The ambience there is good and the food there i have to admit was super delicious. It is a japanese restaurant located at The Central #03-87 it is in the same shopping mall as the buffet i when with my friends, you can find it here.

They have a wide variety of meat to choose from you can choose beef, chicken, pork. There was also a few complimentary dishes such as kimchi. I really love the beef there, it is super juicy and the meat is sweet. It is like a combination of a korean bbq and japanese food, the seafood pancake was really nice, we had like 6 plates of it. You got 2 hours to order so after the 2 hours you cannot order any more, and every time you order you can only order 15 stuff.

At the end of the meal you would also get to have free ice cream, they have chocolate, strawberry and matcha (green tea). It is about $40 per person but i personally find it quite okay as i really eat lots of beef that day. I have to admit that my mouth did not stop moving the moment the food arrive, and my mouth was aching the next day from all that eating.

The super nice seafood pancake whose name i have forgotten.

After dinner, we walk around and ended up in highlander having some drinks. We chit-chat and listen to the singers sing. My mum had a drink called" Sex on the beach" which contain vodka while i had something without alcohol in it, i had mocktail and it was called" Pussy foot" i have to say it was quite nice with pineapple juice, orange juice and many more.

My drink for the night.
That's all for now, will see you all again in the next post. Bye bye..

Fried Shiitake Mushroom- Recipe

Fried Shiitake Mushroom

I was inspired to make this dish after i had this at Swensens it was super duper delicious, so i decided to try to recreate it at home. You can go with different type of sauce like chilli, chilli an mayonnaise, mayonnaise or even tar tar sauce.

Ingredients needed:
- 1 pack of shiitake mushroom
- 50g of plain flour*
- 1/2 tsp of salt

*If you have store bought fried chicken mix then you can use it, you do not need to use plain flour
and salt.
1. Wash and cut the stems off the mushroom. Then cut the mushroom in half if needed.

2. Mix the flour and salt together and add water. The consistency of the batter has to be thick not too runny or it would not stick to the mushroom. Then set up the dipping station.

3. Coat the mushroom well with the batter.

4. Bread it well with bread crumbs.

5. Fried them in oil on medium high until golden brown.

6. Take them out of the oil and cool on a paper towel.
