Baking Adventure Part 2

I have been baking again during my free time and i also tried out many different recipes that i found on Youtube. The First thing i baked was the lemon cupcakes, i really love lemons so this cupcake is the bomb for me. Every bite you take it will be filled with the scent of lemons. This recipe is by Laura Vitale.

The second one is Eugenie Kitchen's Rainbow cookies, it is suppose to be in the shape of a heart but i change it to another shape instead. This recipe requires time as you need to constantly freeze the cookies to ensure that they are not too sticky to work with so that it is easy for you to cut it. The cookie is really buttery and it will be good to go with a cup of black tea. Even though it is quite time consuming but it will be worth it.

The third one is caramel popcorn, popcorn is something i cannot get enough of, it is simply irresistible. And it is surprisingly easy to make too. This recipe was by Cupcake jemma and it was indeed simple and quick. The caramel for the popcorn was awesome to it was just nice.

The fourth recipe was on churro, churros was the "in" thing the past few months. Everyone been talking about it every where, instagram, twitter. And i really have not tired it before so i thought why not bake it so that i can try it out? This recipe is by Gemma Stafford and the churros turn out like what she said in the video. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside paired together with the chocolate sauce....

The fifth recipe was something i had seen a long time ago and always wanted to try it out, it was the magic custard cake. From one batter, when you bake it,  it magically separated into 3 different layers with different texture, this recipe is by Sorted food.

The last one that i tried is not really a recipe more like a food art. It is a baymax rice burger, this was inspired by Bento monster. The burger had lettuce and a patty with a button mushroom at the side as a garnish. The eyes were cut out from seaweed.

Thats all for my baking adventure for now, can't wait to bake and cook more again:)

My Birthday Cupcakes

My birthday just passed 2 days ago and to celebrate this year's sweet 16 my mum decide to order a batch of fondant cupcakes. I get to know this store through my cousin whom bought the cupcakes to a birthday party, when i saw the cute and unique cupcakes i immediately asked her what is the store name.

I have order from this store at least 3 times now and they never fail me. I wanted an owl theme cupcakes so i emailed them my order together with the picture of the owl cupcake that i want them to make. And when i went to collect it looks almost as good as the one in the picture. They have two flavours for the cupcake, chocolate and vanilla. The chocolate cupcake has a chocolate inside which makes it double chocolatey. The price varies depending on your designs so be sure to check it with them. They also sell all kind of desserts like macaroons ( they even have bubblegum flavour) and tarts like lemon meringue tart and even biscuits.

I also made s'more cupcake this week, it is really simple and easy as it is a one bowl recipe where all you need to do is just to mix and you can put it in the oven already. The cupcake is rich of chocolate and you also have the gram cracker base with the marshmallow meringue on top, it is really like eating a s'mores in a cupcake form. This recipe is from kawaii sweet world.

Daiso Artificial Leather Kits

Back once again after a long time..., this time it's a post on the Daiso artificial leather kits that i have done over the past few months. The kits are relatively easy to do and the end results are super cute, i really love all the kits especially the boots and the shoulder bag one. It is a kit that requires lots of time, so be prepared to be spending lots of time when doing this kit. But i assure you the end results are worth the time spent. There are a total of 5 different designs, the shoulder bag, boot, trunk, book and the hat.

The easiest kit would be the hat as it only have 3 pieces that needs to be sewn together and it could be done within 45 minutes. The kit that i found difficult to do was the trunk as you need to sew through quite a few layers which can be very difficult.

I have also done another series of a DIY kit from Daiso and it is the felt cloth one, where you sew the different felt cloth and stuff it with stuffing to make different desserts. That one too was also really cute and it was easier on whole compared to the leather one because felt is easier to sew than leather.

There are all $2 because they are from Daiso, i bought all the leather kits from the Daiso at vivo but i went to the other outlets and i saw that they have it too, it is located at the DIY or sewing section of Daiso.
