Bits and pieces of my life: ChisoZanmai Buffet

So the exams were officially over last friday and i was super happy cause i could finally enjoy my life and watch my dramas. On monday, 13 october is our school's marking day which means that i do not have to go to school. So to celebrate the end of our exams my friends decided to go out on monday to catch a movie and have buffet.

We went to this japanese buffet called "ChisoZanmai" it is located at clarke quay central. It was $20 per person and i personally find it quite okay for a japanese buffet. The exterior of the restaurant was classy looking with the black painted walls and white doors. The restaurant was quite big on the inside with lots of tables, we were being seated at a table near the window so we could enjoy the scenery outside. The food choices were fine but there was not many to choose from but considering paying only $20 it was okay. There was ready cooked food items and also steamboat so customers could choose if they want the steamboat anot. For each steamboat you get to choose two soup base, they have quite a variety to choose from we had the miso with prawn base with another white base soup which i could not remember. I really love the miso one, i thought i would be very fishy because of the prawn but no it was not fishy at all. They also have commentary sashimi worth $5 for each person and you can collect it at the sushi bar.

To end the buffet of cause we need to have desserts, they also have quite a few to choose from too. When i went there, they had white chocolate panna cota with oreo, cheesecake, mochi (Green tea, red bean) not to forgot their DIY soft serve ice cream. You get to customise what you want to add on your ice cream, like chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, nuts, chocolate chip and many more.

After the buffet, we went to watch the movie "Annabelle" it was nice and i actually do not really fine it really scary for scariness i would rate it 2.5 or 3 out of 5. But i still could not rely figure out why the husband would want to give the doll to the wife, and why they decorated the room full of dolls cause if it was me i would be really scared to stay in a room full of dolls. Hahah but i would not give the ending away to those who wants to watch it.

Since the exams have ended, i would have more time to try out some recipes that i have found and also do some hands on projects, will post them up if i have time. For the time being, i would just sit back and watch my dramas that i wanted to watch since the start of the year.
