Batam Trip

During the last week of my holiday, together with my family we went to Batam by ferry. Just thinking about Batam many people would think that it is a very boring place to go, maybe it is, to me Batam is a relaxing place to get away from the usual hectic lifestyle. I really enjoy my 3 day 2 night stay there and would like to visit that place again when i want to find a place near to relax.

We took the Sindo Ferry and it is about 1 hour journey. In the ferry, there are two level and at each level there are televisions at the front for people to entertain themselves during the journey.  The seaport  tax from Singapore to Batam is about $20 per person and the seaport tax from Batam back is about $7 if i am correct. 

Malacca Trip

So I was really busy the last few weeks with CCA camps and stuff and I also went on a short trip to Malacca to relax myself hehe…

Anyways when I was there I went to this shopping mall called Phlawan Mall, this mall is very big and is connected to another shopping mall. If you want to buy lots of clothes at a cheap price this is the best place and if you wanna buys some shoes maybe try another place, I find that the shoes here are not as nice. This mall sell mainly male and female clothes and handphone covers and also lots of bags. The prices for female clothing range from 10rm to 60rm plus I think. The clothes are super cheap and nice, another place to go when you go to Malacca is jonker street. They also sells lots of things there like souvenirs, clothes and also food the famous chicken rice is also located there. There are a lot of attractions around jonker street like the Malacca cruise and also the revolving tower.
