Slappy Cake and Bagel

Last Saturday i went to Sentosa with my best friend, we went to play the luge to release the stress within us. It was really fun and relaxing to be able to hang out with her too, since it has been a long time since we are able to spend time together.

All the sauces available for you to use.

After that we went to Slappy Cakes for lunch. The atmosphere was really comfortable and the moment you step in you will be able to smell the yummy buttery pancakes. I ordered butter milk batter while my friend ordered chocolate batter. The batter was counted by per bottle so one bottle is $8.50 and the sweet toppings are at $1.50 while the savoury toppings are at $2.00. They would also give you some butter, so you should spread the butter on the pan before cooking the pancakes. You could also make any designs for your pancakes.
Batters and toppings
My pancake was so soft and fluffy and it could go with any sauce they had because i had the basic batter, so any sauce would go well with it. I had roasted mushrooms as topping while my friend had chocolate chip, i wanted bacon but it was not available that day.... V_V'' We also ordered a bowl of mushroom soup to share, but the taste was very creamy and it did not really have the mushroom taste in it so it was okay in my opinion. But it tasted a little better with pepper. The pink thyme lemonade was to die for, i really love it especially the colour, the taste was not bad too i thought the taste of the thyme would cover the taste of the lemonade but it did not there was just a hint of thyme taste not too much. They also had a small water station where you can go and get warm or cold water and it is complementary.

On last friday, i made bagel and i got the recipe from SORTED food. The recipe was simple and easy to follow, i paired my bagel with lettuce, mushrooms and a patty, and it tasted surprisingly good. I am considering to make SoufflĂ© on friday if i have the time.
