I am finally able to write about the taiwan trip, it is only week 2 but it is so tiring, i almost go home later than usual due to all the extra lessons. I do not know how am i going to survive for another nine months....
Anyway back to the trip, on day 6 we went to 日月潭. This place is called 日月潭 because the lake looks like a sun and moon at the same time. When you board the boat, the driver will also be your guide and they would introduce you to all the buildings and scenery around the lake. The water is about 8 to 10 stories deep and there are about 28 types of fish in the lake. The scenery is quite nice too.

After that we went to 灵芝茶艺馆, they would tell you the benefits of 灵芝 and they would also tell you more about the tribes living there in the past. You can also get to buy some 灵芝 back. They said that 灵芝 has many health benefits and if you consume it for a year you will notice a difference in your body if you go for a body check up.
After lunch we arrived at 文武庙, it was said that there was an earthquake in the past and it was heading toward the temple but it suddenly turned 90 degrees in front of the temple, people say that the earthquake turned away from the temple is because of the
天驴 in the temple. They believed that the
天驴 protected the temple. My family went in and we prayed, i prayed hoping the new year would be a good one and also for my O levels.

Then we proceeded to 广兴纸寮, this is the place where they make paper. They would give you a tour around the factory and also explain how paper is made. Paper is actually made using plants fiber and different plant can produce different type of colour paper. If the plant fibre is red then the paper produce would be red too. It was so interesting, we also get to do a DIY. We made our own paper fan.

At night we went to 逢甲夜市 one of the famous night market in taiwan, it is 20 minutes away from our hotel (台中全国大饭店), if you take taxi it would cost about $160 taiwan dollars. It is the biggest night market there and it sell clothes, shoes and food too. It is famous for its 大肠包小肠.
